This is a Oak Leaf that's floating on the cover of my pool. There was a light breeze
that was pushing the leaf around. I was able to get these three photos as
the wind pushed the leaf from left to right. When using the rule of thirds
I found it hard because I kept wanting to center the leaf in the photo. On these
three photos I held the camera in one spot and took the photos of the
leaf as it moved across the view finder of my camera. |
I like the first shot better than the second and third. I find the slightly off-center leaf to be more interesting than the one in the center of the photo. However, I can't tell you why I like the first better than the third which is also off center. I think this may be a case of the rule of thirds.
