Here are my pictures using the macro setting from my Nikon. About half of the pictures are close ups of things my wife and I saw while hiking on Tuesday. The other pictures are of close shots of items from around my house. My top three pictures are the spider, the butterfly and my helmet. If you look close enough at the spider you can see her eyes. The butterfly is a baby monarch. My New Yorker (fire helmet) and I saw lots fire together and she is now retired.

  1. Very nice pictures, except for the spider...yikes, I really dont like those. I notice you have a couple of the same pictures that I do. I love flowers and being in my garden, which is my work in progress.

  2. Not a huge fan of spiders...but I will say nice shot. A lot of good closeups with great focus.

  3. Nice job! I like the picture on the bottom right. You did a great job of focusing in on the subject and taking a clear photo.

  5. Seems as if many of us did nature and objects around our homes. Ha nice common theme. Anyhow, this is great! My only suggestion is that you present larger in the blog. I'd like to get a closer look at your photos.

    However, you did great!!

  6. I like the details of the spider and the bees. It's incredible that our cameras can pick-up such detail. This is great!
